To add a student to a student roster, you must first log into Insights by navigating to selweb.com.
After logging in, navigate to the “Student Launcher” area.
In the upper left of the "Student Launcher" page, you will select the “Add Provisional Student” button.
Pressing the “Add Provisional Student” button will reveal a form, where you may enter in the student’s information. The fields with an asterisk by them are the only required fields to add a student. Although it is not required, please ensure that the Student ID field is completed before adding the student to Insights. Before you press the “Create Student” button, Insights will make sure that the new student is not a duplicate.
Once the student has been added, their Insights credential (username and password) can be found by logging into Insights, visiting the administrative area, and looking under the username column. The credential you see here is the student's username and password.
