Here is a summary plot that shows how your child performed on tasks that measure different social-emotional learning (SEL) competencies.
The names of each SEL competence and the overall score are at the bottom of the graph.
In each SEL competence area, the dots and diamonds show how your child performed on the Insights tasks for that SEL competence. The dots refer to the scores for the first assessment phase whereas the diamond refer to the scores for the second assessment phase.
The bracket around your child’s score shows a “confidence interval.” Because no assessment is perfect, if your child were to re-take Insights, their score would likely be somewhat different than their score on this report. The confidence interval shows a range of scores within which their score would likely fall if they soon took Insights again. Think of the confidence interval as the range of scores in which your child’s “true score” is likely to fall.
