How do students get their Insights login information?

For clients who choose manual rostering, the 7 Mindsets Assessment Team will process rosters into Insights so that students’ Insights login information uses the following pattern:

A student's username and password are the same.

The username and password are the school or district prefix, a period, and the student’s ID. For example, if the school/district prefix is "schooldistrict" the student login information would be:

Username = schooldistrict + . + student ID

Password = schooldistrict + . + student ID

Insights is Single Sign On (SSO) compliant with Clever and ClassLink. After 7 Mindsets coordinates with the school or district network IT professional for set up, students may login into Insights by first logging into Clever or ClassLink with their QR codes and selecting the SELweb app icon to launch the assessment.

For schools or districts without Clever or ClassLink, Insights will provide login cards for educators to distribute to students with their login credentials listed.
