- Students may self-enroll in a room after it is created
- Rooms have to be created by an Administrator on behalf of a user, or by the person who is going to maintain the room.
- To create your room and have it available to join, Click on “Get Started with BASE” or Select the Create a New Room option

- The program will walk the user through the steps of creating a room. The steps provided by BASE can be skipped

- Provide a name for your room, this will be visible to students
- Select an image to be associated with your room
- Select if you would like to receive firework notifications, and then for your own courses
- Select if you would like to allow students to access the room for themselves
- This will allow them to self enroll
- Click Next

- Complete the creation of the BASE Room
- The room will now be available to be seen by students to request to join
|

- From the learner view, the option to “Join a Room” will become visible in the upper right-hand side
- After clicking “Join a Room” the student will be given a choice of available rooms to request enrollment in, and show any pending requests.
- Educators will then receive a notification that a student has requested to join a Room on their homepage to approve.
