Accommodations in BASE

BASE has accommodations built in to help meet the needs of every learner While working in modules, students can use the options that are available at the bottom menu to open different accommodations
Speech to Text for Open Ended Questions BASE ordinals include open-ended questions The Speech to Text option will allow students to speak their answers to be typed on their behalf
To open, select the microphone from the bottom menu
Your browser will request permission to use your device’s microphone. Click “Allow” Students will now be able to click in the text box and speak their answer to be typed out
BASE Content can be translated into a variety of languages to support students From the bottom menu, click the world/language button to select the language content that should be displayed in
Text to Speech To have content read aloud to students, click on the Speaker icon
